Best priloжenie ever
This is a wonderful drawing app. You get high resolution drawings, with an easy-to-understand set of tools. If you have an iPad, its even better. Much more space to work with, and more tools. This app is carefully maintained by a professional and responsible team. A lot of hard work and dedication mustve been put into creating this. And the amazing thing is you have a professional grade drawing app for just dollars! More than worth every penny, this is a deal not to be beat. If you like to draw, whether for fun or professionally, this app is well worth buying. It has been endorsed by Apple, and for very good reason. If youre fortunate to also have an iPad, or an iPad Pro, give this app a try for those devices as well. The extra real-estate you have to draw on makes it an even better experience. But even if you only have an iPhone or iPod touch, its a fabulous drawing app. You can download free brushes from the Procreate community. Lots of great brushes to try. Hope you will have a chance to enjoy the Procreate app. I doubt it will disappoint.
Well the app is great! However i have a few requests that i think need to be fixed. Sometimes on the color pallet i zoom in and the app wont let me zoom out to see the color wheel, its really annoying because im restricted to one color. I also want to request the layer problem, sometimes it glitches up and i cant seem to switch layers, also it takes ALOT of taps to make a layer visible or not. And i kinda think the pocket version deserves more brushes, the ipad version has so many different choices, but pocket is restricted to just 12, and as an artist that doesnt have much money i cant afford an ipad to receive those brushes. Its a really good app and it has alot of potential! I guys i could make do without the brushes but the layer and the color wheel i cant ignore, especially when i paid to have this app because i heard it was better then the one i was using. I understand that creating such a great app without flaws is difficult, especially with so little of a team, i can be patient :3
This app has a lot going for it. The brushes are great and the UI is very intuitive. Painting is pleasurable on a single layer. The problem arises when you need to use additional layers. As is, it is impossible to use. The functionality is supposed to be there, but changing the order, blend mode, and visibility of the layers ranges from difficult (to turn visibility on and off) to insurmountable (changing the layer order is completely undoable right now). The only workaround I can think of is to add a bunch of empty layers ahead of time and to work from the top down, but really it just needs to be addressed and fixed. With a functioning layer system, Im certain this will be a superb app.
OK so I love this app so much, definitely the best drawing app Ive ever used, but theres many bugs with the layers. Its annoying to switch layers cause you have to click the one you want like 10-15 times for it to switch and its also hard to turn off a layer. Im not sure if this feature is in the app or not but being able to change the opacity of each layer would be really useful.
I love Procreate for iPad, and I was so excited when the pocket version was released for iPhone. It does not disappoint! Nearly all of the features in the full version are available in Pocket, and theyre lightning fast! I especially love that I can easily install user generated brushes from the generous & talented Procreate community. This app is the best - and it will just keep getting better because the developers truly care about their users. Thank you, Savage Interactive!
I use this app all the time for iPad. And I love it! However for the iPhone 6s Im not able to rearrange my layers if needed. This would be a big problem Im trying to create a piece of artwork with multiple layers.
Being able to quickly select different layers and change their order, blend mode, etc, would be nice. Seems to be a problem where it isnt responsive unless I press the layer repeatedly. Whats taking so long to update??? Ill gladly update my review after but this makes the app nearly useless to me.
Please fix layers. They are unusable. Cant merge. Cant make invisible.
This is a great simplified version of Procreate for iPad. Only thing its missing is 3D Touch support for iPhone 6. The Paper app has it and it works really well for sketching with pressure sensitivity. If you guys add that, it would be 5 stars.
This is so awesome!
I would love to see them make a desktop version of this app
I was SO excited to see support for pressure sensitivity added to the app... That is until I realized it just simply doesnt work on my device, which is an iPhone 6S Plus. Typically this is such a good app, but Im not sure what they missed here. Other fixes are in, though, such as the layer reordering, which is working now.
But mine didnt have new features so I deleted and reinstalled it. Maybe resetting it works too. Finally on par with the iPad and maybe better with Force Touch.
Yes! This sweet update made me want to use the iphone to draw again on the go! Rockin my ideas with ease and with the new 3D touch feature its a breeze to get things going on the fly. Thanks Procreate developers
3D Touch didnt work when I updated, but as another reviewer mentioned, deleting and reinstalling did the job. This is great software.
Great update to an already great app
UPDATE 12/16/15: The newest update is a dream! I am very happy with everything functioning again and more! Awesome update! Ive been a huge fan of Procreate when the app first came out and was stoked when the iPhone version was released! Pretty much all of the same features in the iPad version have been nicely redesigned for the iPhone without over-complicating things. This is an app I have been waiting for and beats out all the other sketch apps for the iPhone. Great job, SI team :)
